Rule 10
Applying for a permit

(1) The company, institution or body that wants to manage waste must attach the necessary documents in the format as per schedule-1 and the fee prescribed by the local body, in addition to the details mentioned in sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Act. An application for a permit should be submitted to the relevant local authority:-

(a) Financial resources, manpower, waste collection and transportation equipment, details of work experience, required to manage waste.

(b)   Area of ​​operation where waste management is desired,

(c) Collection, transfer of waste , arrangement of land required for processing and final disposal,

(d) methods and methods of waste management,

(e) Proposed arrangement regarding fulfilling social obligations,

(f)    Time and period for waste management,

(g) measures to reduce the impact of waste management on the environment,

(h) responsibilities to be borne by waste producers and Fees to be paid,

(j) The amount proposed to be paid by the applicant to the local body.

(2) When making an application under sub-rule (1), garbage Whether the management is to be done professionally or to be done in a community or social manner without the intention of making profit should be clearly disclosed.
